Charles-Louis de Maere (Visual Facilitator)

My mission is to make the world a better place one step at a time by reducing the frustration levels in the workplace. My main area of expertise is in the field of human relationships. And these exist throughout our interactions, whether they happen online or in-person. As a trainer/facilitator, I strongly believe people learn at their best when they are given the space to experiment and start important conversations. Although I have a fair idea of the structure of the training, I also let the training topics emerge from what the participants actually need in order to enrich their experience, rather than enforcing my strict training program. As someone who dabbles with agility, I thrive when bringing people in contact with agile values and letting them apply their understanding of it to their context. This can be limited to the IT department. However, I’ve noticed the benefits are much higher when everyone is on board. I’m also more interested in pragmatism than applying dogmas without reflection. The goal should still be to work on something of value and perform relevant work. As a Visual Facilitator and certified bikablo® Visual Facilitation trainer, I use visuals to enhance communication and create space for co-creation through mutual understanding. Through these different aspects, my focus is always on bringing people together. On making aligment visible, beyond the perceived differences.
