As a Puerto Rican author of Taíno descent, she strives to create picture books that are fun, engaging, and educational. All her current titles are based on her background in music education or her heritage. She's been published by Disney and Penguin Random House but also has successful self-published titles. Vicky is the owner of At Home Author - a coaching and consulting company that helps current and aspiring authors navigate the publishing industry. She's also an associate literary agent specializing in children's literature at The Purcell Agency.
